Professional Background

Dr. Marc H. Siegel is an internationally recognized expert in risk, resilience, and security management. He is the President and CEO of M Siegel Associates LLC and the Director of Global Security and Resilience Projects in the Homeland Security Graduate Program at San Diego State University (SDSU). He is also a lecturer in the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), where he teaches Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management in the Supply Chain Management track.  He is also the President and Director of the American Multinational Jewish Federation which supports humanitarian aid efforts and capacity building of NGOs and CSOs in Moldova and Ukraine.

Dr. Siegel has extensive experience in consulting and training in integrating dynamic, proactive risk management into all aspects of business management to enhance the resilience of organizations and their supply chains. He is an internationally recognized Lead Auditor and trainer for risk, resilience, and security management. He has worked with several multinational companies on supply chain risk management.

Dr. Siegel served as the Commissioner heading the ASIS International Global Standards Initiative, developing international and national risk management, resilience, security, and supply chain standards. He served as Chairman of ISO/PC284: Security Operations and Human Rights, as well as chaired 13 ANSI technical committees for standards which demonstrate accountability to business and risk management requirements while meeting legal obligations and respecting human rights and dignity.

Vision

Dr. Siegel's vision is to position Moldova as a trusted player in the global economy, where companies from around the globe consider Moldova as a reliable and dependable partner. Recognizing the importance of transparent risk management and resilience practices, Dr. Siegel works in Moldova and Ukraine to promote the implementation of integrated management systems for quality, governance, compliance, and risk management.

Role at the MIT-Center

Marc provides valuable guidance in risk management, resilience, and security to support the MIT-Center's educational solutions. He utilizes his network and expertise to cultivate relationships with potential donors and partners, ensuring adequate resources for the organization's activities.
