Professional Background

Dorin Cebanu is a dedicated researcher in the fields of conservative and sustainable agriculture. He currently serves as the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs at the National Center for Research and Seeds Production. Additionally, he works as an Expert in agricultural education at the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Information Technologies (ACETI). His work focuses on organic farming systems, sustainable farming practices, long-term field experiments on irrigation, and digitalization in agriculture.

In addition to his roles at the National Center for Research and Seeds Production and ACETI, Dorin is also a PhD student at the Technical University of Moldova, where he continues to expand his knowledge and expertise in agricultural ecology.

Vision
Dorin's vision is to enhance the resilience and sustainability of agricultural ecosystems in Moldova through innovative research and the implementation of sustainable farming practices. He aims to address the challenges of modern agriculture by promoting eco-friendly and efficient agricultural systems.

Role at the MIT-Center
Dorin is interested in publishing his scientific knowledge sustainably with the help of the digital possibilities provided by the MIT-Center. His extensive experience with conservative farming systems and organic farming can thus reach not only his students but also farmers and other agricultural experts in Moldova and abroad.
